Mariners Come Alive

It is a good time when your team
is struggling to come play the
worst team in baseball.

On Friday night the Mariners
won 10-0 over the Chicago
White Sox in  Chicago.

The Mariners hit three home runs
in the first inning in a row. Josh
Rojas started off with a three-run
homer followed by Dylan Moore
and Victor Robles.  Ended the
first with eight runs.  A few innings
later Jorge Polanco hit a two-run
homer to end the scoring.

George Kirby had another quality
shutting out the White Sox for
seven innings. Bryan Woo will go
Saturday  afternoon and the game
will be on Fox TV.

The Mariners made two more
trades on Saturday. They acquired
veteran right handed reliever from
the Toronto Blue Jays for outfielder
Jonatan Clase. With the stack of
outfielders Clase was one who could
be traded. He was able to show
what he had in limited time up
a couple times with the Mariners
this year. We wish him the best.

The Mariners traded reliever Ryne
Stanek to the New York Mets later
in the day for a minor league outfielder.
Stanek showed some stuff with the
Mariners however was wild at times
as well. Garcia will take his spot while
Gregory Santos looks to come back
after bring hurt in the leg on Wednesday.
We will see if any additional trades are
made soon.

We do hope the Mariners can take
care of the White Sox before heading
to Boston for three games against
the Red Sox. Go Mariners!
