Mariners Shutout Padres

It wasn't much of an offensive
explosion however the Mariners
beat the Padres 2-0.

A key to the game was in the second 
inning when Julio threw home to
get the final out at home. Who knows
what may have happened if the runner
would have been safe. The Padres may have won.

Bryce Miller had his best outing since
April. He sent six innings giving up
five hits. Bryce didn't walk a batter and
only struck out one.  It took place
in the sixth inning.

Andres Munoz came in the 8th with two
outs. He walked a couple guys however 
got out of hit. Munoz he recorded his
15 save on the season.

Lulio.struck out four times however let
his glove do his speaking this time.

Cal Raleigh scored in the second
for the first run. He got in position
by stealing second for his fifth
stolen base on the season. 

Jorge Polanco singled in the 4th
inning driving Luke Raley. Polanco
was involved in both scores as he 
Was base by a fielding error where
Raleigh scored.

Dominic Canzone went on the injured
list after originally being hurt on 
Sunday. Jonatan Clase was recalled
from Tacoma. He didn't see any
action in the game.

Luis Castillo will start Thursday night
against the Angels. Bryan Woo is 
expected to start on Friday. George
Kirkby on Saturday and Logan 
Gilbert on Sunday. 

With the all-star break we will not know yet who will start on next Friday at home.
