Mariners Look Good Tuesday Night

The Mariners looked like what they
could Tuesday night in San Diego
beating the Padres in game one
in  two game series.

Logan Gilbert was dominant for
the most part going 7 and 2-3
innings. He gave up three runs on
four hits and two home runs.
The two Nome runs happened in
the seventh and eighth innings.

Julio and Cal Raleigh were the
hitters for the most part. Julio
was 4-4 including a home run
and a double. He scored three
times. He left late in the game
to keep him healthy.

Cal had two two-run homers
one from the left side and
the second from the right.
Cal hit a double as well and
came home on a double
by Victor Robles.  He came
in for Canzone who had to
leave with an injury.

Final Mariners 8 Padres 3

Tayler Saucedo took over and
got the final out in the eighth.
inning. Gregory Santos who
was activated Monday made
his Mariners debut in the 9th.
The second batter had hit
with a bounce to Polanco.
The third batter hit into a
game inning double play.
Santos looked sharp. He
threw only 13 pitches with
8 being strikes. No hits, no
walks or strike outs. Could
see him again tomorrow
depending how the game goes.
Go Mariners!
