except it started earlier. Actually it happened
one inning which was the fifth. Logan Gilbert
was pitching great. The Angels got a couple
hits then the bases loaded. A couple throwing
errors five runs came across the plate. Only
one run was earned.
The Mariners got their run early on. Late in
the game the Mariners were able to get the
bases loaded however there were two outs.
Dreams of a grand slam was the only chance
they had. Jorge Polanco was up to the plate.
He actually hit the ball pretty well but not
enough for any kind of hit. Had there been
less than two outs it would have been a
sacrifice fly and a run inching closer.
Tuesday was a busy day with JP Crawford
and Julio Rodriguez going on the injured
list. According to Julio he will be back
before JP. The Mariners added more
players to the roster. The Mariners designated
for assignment Ty France after clearing
waivers. Tyler Locklear was added on to
replace France. Luis Rivas brought up for
JP Crawford spot. For now it looks like Dylan
Moore will start mostly at shortstop. We hope
he can start hitting once again. Cade Marlowe
was added to replace Julio and started in
right field as Victor Robles in center.
Wednesday's game is in the afternoon. It could
be interesting if the sun is out. Right now the
Mariners could use some runs. We could see
Mitch Garver behind the plate although the
Mariners have Thursday off and travel to
Chicago. We hope the Mariners don't play
the same level as the White Sox as they doing
against the Angels. The Angels haven't done
anything special the Mariners are beating
themselves. Go team!
