Mariners Minor Leaguers Report

First thing came out on Sport
Illustrated fan site that the
Mariners number #1 pick from
last year Colt Emerson went on
the injured list with an oblique
injury. He could be out a few
weeks or months. Colt was
batting .318 at the time in
Modesto.

The Tacoma Rainers are playing well.
They are on a three game winning
streak. They have a two game lead
with a 13-4 record. They are 7-2 at
home and 6-2 on the road.

Most every player is batting well.
Both catchers are at .300 or above.
Could see one of them promoted
to Seattle. Current backup catcher
for the Mariners Seby Zavala is still
has no hits and his catching not
as good as we expected.

Ryan Bliss who was one of the last
to be sent down and in the 11 to 20
range of Mariners prospects is now
batting .230 after a poor start. Let
you who else may do well on our next
update.

Double A Arkansas Travelers are now.7-4
and in second place. Mariners #1 prospect
is hitting .277. Harry Ford is still struggling
at .132. First baseman Tyler Locklear is
hitting .300 with two home runs in ten games.

Next time up on the minor leaguers we
will look at Everett and Modesto who
has the Mariners most top prospects.

The Mariners will.start series Friday
at Colorado with Emerson Hancock.
Bryan Woo is expected to start this
weekend with Tacoma on a rehab
assignment. Go M's!
