Mariners Take Series on Sunday

We would have thought the Mariners
would have won game one with Kirby starting however neither team did
a lot scoring.

Game 2 the Mariners won 10-2.
The Rockies scored the two runs
in the bottom of the first that
included an error. The Mariners
followed by scoring six runs
in the second inning.  The first run
happened when Luis Urias was hit
by a pitch with bases loaded.

Catcher Seby Zavala had his first
hit of the season that was hit sharply
to left field  scoring Jorge Polanco.
JP Crawford hit the longest ball of
the season 424 ft that ended to be
a triple allowing three more runs.
He ended up just missing a grand
slam home run. JP ended up scoring
as well on a wild pitch.

In the sixth inning Cal Raleigh hit a
two run homer and in all three runs
that inning. Julio had a single to
score Zavala right before Cal's
homer.

The Mariners scored the final run
where JP came in Cal's sacrifice
fly.

Wouldn't it have been nice if a few
runs were done in game one.

The Mariners are now 11-11 and
a half game behind the Rangers
they play starting on Tuesday.
We see what happens coming up.

The Los Angeles Angels have lost
four straight and are two games
behind the Mariners. Oakland is
one game behind the Angels.
I am sure everyone is happy the
Houston Astros is one and a
half behind the A's. They are
7-16.

The Astros take on the Chicago
Cubs starting Tuesday then the
Rockies in Colorado next weekend.
See more snow maybe.

Go Mariners!
