for one day. We hope it won't be
the last for the season.
The Mariners lost 5-1
It wasn't a good game for them
in several ways. JP Crawford was
scratched a little before the game
with right oblique soreness. How
long he will miss we don't know.
The Mariners decided to have Josh
Rojas lead off in the game. He started
out well hitting a triple. I am sure
most fans thought it would be a good
game. Mitch Haniger drove in Rojas
on a fielders choice. Rojas also had
another hit.
Ty France and Dylan Moore who playe
in for Crawford had two hits. Unfortunately
the Mariners couldn't get more runs with
those hits. Haniger had a double in
the game but the Mariners couldn't take
advantage of it either.
Bryce Miller couldn't copy his last
outing this time in his home state.
He was only able to go four innings.
Miller gave up only four hits however
walked four. He gave up two home
runs that were back to back in the
4th inning. He threw 83 pitches.
Tayler Saucedo gave up a run though
no hits but a walk in one and one-third
innings. Tyson Miller went two-thirds
of the inning coming in for Saucedo.
He gave up a hit however a run scored
on an error so not earned. The same
went with Austin Voth who went two
innings had an unearned run as well.
You may wonder why Cal Raleigh
didn't play on Wednesday. He had
to have oral surgery and have a tooth
removed. We hope he will be able
to catch Thursday afternoon game.
Luis Castillo starts Thursday and we
hope he can do the same as he did
in his last outing and that is winning.
Coming home taking two out of three
in Texas after doing the same in
Colorado will be sweet.
Thursday evening we will see who
the Seahawks draft whether in the
16th spot or elsewhere in the 1st
round. We will see what Huskies
will be drafted in the first round.
Will one stay put and be a Seahawk.
Stay tuned.
