Seahawks Friday

This week the Seahawks had off season
workout. They are preparing for the NFL draft which will start in 13 days.

The first day will be first round only.
The Seahawks have the 16th pick overall.
There is a good chance they could slide down to add more picks. A lot may depend
who they like on the board and they think
will still be there. General manager
John Schneider is known for sliding
down.

The Seahawks could surprise us by
going up as well. I am sure the fans
would like to have Huskies qb Michael
Penix or another quarterback.

The Seahawks have Sam Howell as
the second quarterback on the team.
Whether he is the right fit in the future
we will find out. The Seahawks could
use depth on the front line and at
inside linebacker. At some point the
defensive line and edge rusher all
depending who is available.

The Seahawks will likely go for the best
player available regardless of position.
We hope the Seahawks can make the
playoffs this coming season however
is that realistic.

The Seahawks have added some depth
to the offensive like. If the first pick an offensive lineman is their best choice they will go for it. Former WSU Cougar Abe
Lucas with injuries the Seahawks may
want to shore up the right tackle spot.
The right guard spot is open as well.
The Seahawks could move Lucas there
and put in someone else at right tackle.
The most likely that would happen be
selecting a tackle with the first or
second pick.

The Washington Huskies are in their
spring camp right now.  The question mark
is the offensive line as all last years
starters are gone.  Newcomer Will Rogers
is the starting quarterback. Running
back sophomore Tyrone Rogers was
suspended again. Too bad he showed
talent last season. The Huskies do
have depth at running back.

The Huskies spring game will be on
May 3 so we will get some insight
on how they look.

The Mariners start Friday a three game
series with the Chicsgo Cubs at home.
Bryce Miller will start the game.

That's it for now.
