beat the Reds 11+7. They took
took two of three.
It is interesting because they could
have swept the series as well being
swept. That is how close it was.
Emerson Hancock who started
the game got off to a hard start
giving up a two-run homer in the
first inning however bounced back
going five innings without giving
anything else up.
The bullpen had some trouble
including giving up a grand slam
homer off of Jake Fraley former
Mariner in the 8th inning. This
was after the Mariners had taken
the lead before that.
The Mariners were down by
two into the ninth. Cal Raleigh
and Randy Arozarena hit
back to back homers to tie.
In the tenth JP Crawford singled
to bring in Dylan Moore. With
the bases loaded Randy Arozarena
was up to the ate which he has done
a lot lately. He looked like again
he would take a walk however
he hit a double to score two more.
That gave the edge the Mariners
needed to win.
In this game like the whole series
Polanco had a double. He along
with Arozarena and Cal we the big
guys in this series.
The Mariners now head to Toronto
to take on the Blue Jays. They are
a team that Cal seems to own.
Stay tuned. Go M's.
