to have a good offense to have any
chance to win over the San Francisco
Giants on Friday afternoon which they
did.
The game was a wild one..Luis
F. Castillo who the Mariners
acquired during the offseason
went only three innings and
gave up three runs. They knock
Justin Verlander in the third inning
too. The score was tied at three.
Tayler Saucedo, Collin Snider and
Eduard Bazardo gave up five
runs in the next three innings.
The offense caught to make
it 8-8 after nine. The Mariners
used their whole bullpen while
the Giants used seven.
Carlos Vargas was the last
pitcher in the 11th inning.
The Mariners had taken the
lead in the top of the inning
on a wild pitch unfortunately
Vargas gave up two runs
on a single with runners
on second and third. Before
it happened on a pitch he
stumbled to the right. Had
that not happened the Mariners
may have won the game.
They were glad he was ok.
The Mariners have Saturday night
game. Bryce Miller starts for
the Mariners while Robby Rae
goes for the Giants. It is important
that the starters go as deep as they
can. See if any moves happen
before the ball game for the
bullpens. Go M's.
