in March adding and subtracting
players. April have not been any
signings.
The NFL draft begins in two
weeks from yesterday Thursday
on April 24. It will be just the
first round on that day. Friday
will be round two and three.
Saturday four through seven.
We could see the Seahawks
move up or back in the first
round. A lot depends whether
they want to draft an offensive
lineman in the first round or
not. We will see.
News is out that former
Seahawks receiver Tyler
Lockett is expected to
sign with thr Carolina
Panthers possibly on
Friday.
One thing for sure the
Seahawks offense will
be different this coming
season. Both personnel
and how it comes together.
The Seahawks are expected
to be run first offense. Of
course they tried that while
Geno Smith was quarterback
however it never happened.
There are theories like the
offensive line wasn't good
enough or maybe Geno
wanted to pass first. A lot
we will see from him with
the Raiders now that he
and Pete Carroll united
together.
Under Pete Carroll he wanted
to run first however often when
not succeeded Geno would
throw up to fifty passes a game.
Maybe that got him his new
contract with the Raiders
however will it get them to
the playoffs.
There have rumors about
Kenneth Walker lll during
the offseason. Will he be
the starting running back
or not. He is very talented
although injuries along
with the line or scheme
have kept him from doing
so. Go Hawks!
Update Friday the Seahawks
signed free agent quarterback
and former qb Drew Lock to
a contract. It looks he will
compete with Sam Howell
for the backup spot.
Not knowing for sure the
Seahawks could trade Sam
Howell by the time of the
NFL draft. Let you know
know more details later.
