This Week Look at M's Minors

Tacoma Rainiers continue to
struggle after getting off to a
a good start. They are 8-9
right now. The Rainers this
week are playing Oklahoma
City who have cotton off to
a very good start.

Samad Taylor who has been
playing a lot of outfield is
having a good season. He is
batting .292 and leads the
Rainiers with four home runs
he RBIs. Harry Ford is still
catching every other game
which I don't understand.
He doesn't have a home run
yet and with ten RBIs. Cole
Young has raised his average
to .206.

Heading into Thursday the
Arkansas Travelers are second
place with a 7-4 record.

The Travelers two catchers who
primarily sharing the position
are still hitting very well. Connor Charping is hitting .444 and Nick
Raposo is at .318.The team isn't
hitting many home runs with
total of two.

Shortstop Josh Hood is high
hitting as of position players
with an average of .281. As
far as their starting pitching
goes Adam.Seminaris in two
starts has an era of 1.13.
Their bullpen is doing quite well.
They have three who haven't
given up a run yet and two in
four outings have given up one
run each.

The Everett Acqua Sox are at
the bottom of the Northwest
League at 4-7. The guys were
struggling are starting to hit
now. We see where they are
at in a few weeks.

Top prospect Colt Emerson
is hitting .282 though no
home runs yet. Lazaro Montes
is hitting .282. He leads with
three home runs and nine RBIs.

Modesto Nuts are 8-3 and at
top of the California League.
The team is limiting the innings
of their starters at this point.
Most are pitching four innings
a game.

Next week we see how they
continue to do.
