Another Tough Loss For Mariners

Saturday night's game was rough
and tough losing second straight
to the A's. Final A's winning 4-2.

The Mariners had Victor Robles
lead off the bottom of the first
with a double. Julio get's hit by
a pitch and Cal Raleigh walks.
It looks like the Mariners are going
to get off to a good start. Arozarena
hits a hard ball up the middle
where second baseman Max Muncy
steps on second to get Julio out
too. With two outs Cal steals second
however Luke Raley strikes out.
The Mariners often didn't score
with the bases loaded with no outs
however this one was tough luck
you may call it. The rest of the
game was much like it the rest
of the game.

The Mariners actually scored first
when Ryan Bliss was stealing second
and the ball was overthrown.

The A's took a lead in the fourth
on a two-run homer. They added
another in the sixth and Mariners
scored a run in the bottom of
the sixth. The A's added their final
run in the top of the seventh.
Mariners had their chances late
in the game.

Besides Robles hit in the first
the rest of the hits was farther
down in the lineup. Polanco, Tellez,
Ryan Bliss and JP Crawford each
had one. Tellez left early as Dylan
Moore came in to pinch hit for
Tellez against a lefty. My question
if the Mariners were pinch hitting
for Tellez why it wasn't Solano.

So far Luke Raley hasn't played
first base yet. It must be his defense.
I am sure most of us thought Raley
was going to be at first base.

Now we have to see how Bryan Woo
will do on Sunday. It is important
he pitches well. So far in his short
career he has dominated the A's.
The Mariners will face another lefty
on the mound. We could see Polanco
have a day off.  Go M's.
