Geno Smith Traded To Raiders.

News came out a little  while  ago that
Geno Smith Seahawks  quarterback
has been  traded to the Las Vegas
Raiders for this year’s  thir round pick.

We can only speculate  why Geno
was traded. Both general manager
John Schneider  and head coach
Mike Macdonald  have been say
Geno is their guy.

The only thought is he wanted more
money than  the Seahawks  wanted
to sign him to an extension.

On Thursday  DK Metcalf said he
wanted to be traded and this was
after Tyler  Lockett  was released.
A question  is was there a problem
between  DK and Geno. We may
never know and we might find out
in a few days.

In other local sports George Kirby
was shut down for Friday's  game
having  inflammation in his shoulder.
Emerson  Hancock  is  going to start
in his spot. The Mariners  don't have
any concerns right now that Kirby
won't  the season  in the rotation.

In hockey  the Seattle  Kraken  made
two more trades on Friday  before
the trade deadline. First trade Friday
was forward Brandon Tanev to Winnipeg.
A team he previously  played  for and
received a second round pick back in2027.
The second  was forward Daniel Sprong
to New Jersey for a seventh round pick
in 2026.
