Huskies Men's Basketball Take Loss

Wednesday night the Huskies
played Nebraska at home.

They dominated the Cornhuskers
early however were unable to let
it last. The Huskies went on a nine
run outburst over two minutes to take
a 20-10 lead. In fact they sustained
for the first half leading by ten.

The Huskies was as bad in the
second half as they were good in
the first half. Quite a difference
in scoring. The Huskies only had
25 points in the second half while
Cornhuskers had 49 points. It
out matched the 47 points the
Huskies had in the first half.

The final Nebraska 86 Wash 72.

Four of tge Huskies scored in
double figures however only
had five points total off the
bench. For the most part the
bench has been worthless
over the season.

Mekhi Mason had another
good game leading the
Huskies with 23 points.
Tyler Harris had a double
double with 14 points
and 11 rebounds. Great
Osobor had 17 points
and 8 rebounds.

The Huskies can't match up
well in the Big Ten. In the
conference they are 2-9
and in last place. Of the
four teams coming from
the Pac-12 only tge UCLA
Bruins have a winning record
at 8-4 and used for fourth
place. The Oregon Ducks
got off to a good start however
have lost four straight. In fact
their last win was against the
Huskies in Eugene. Three of
the losses have been on the
road.

The Huskies play Northwestern
at home on Saturday Evening.
Need to win to salvage these
two games at home. The Huskies
have nine remaining games in
the regular season. To show any success besides improvement
is to win all or most of the games.
It would be good to go into the
conference tournament on a
high note. Go Dawgs.

Gonzaga and Washington State
both play Thursday night. Important
for both to get back on their winning
ways.
