Washington Huskies Needed A Win

The Washington Huskies if they
wanted to make Big Ten Tournament
their first season they have to do well
down the stretch.

Penn State who has been struggling
like the Huskies didn't make it easy
on them. The Huskies had to fight
back from a 13 point deficit early
in the game however they did so.

On his post game show Huskies
coach Danny Sprinkle said Penn
State plays hard all 40 minutes
and like the Huskies they needed
the game as bad.

DJ Davis who had 14 points on
the day hit a crucial 3 pointer
under a minute remaining to help
the Huskies out. He was one of
four Huskies to score in double
figures.

Final Huskies 75 Nittany Lions 73.

Great Osobor may have had the
Huskies first triple double ever
however only had six points. He
had 13 rebounds  and 10 assists.

Neither team shot good from
the field. The Huskies actually
shot better behind the 3 point
line. That doesn't happen often.

The Huskies have six regular season
games left. They cant afford to lose
too many more. They play Rutgers
this cl.ing Wednesday at home
then go on the road to Iowa
next Saturday.  Go Dawgs!

The Cougars and Zags both play Saturday night.
