Huskies and Mariners Both Lose

Washington Huskies lost another
close game Saturday afternoon
at afternoon. This was another
close run that the Huskies may
win.

The Huskies win they get a lead like
they did on Saturday they couldn't
sustain it. We could say the opponent
can think as long as we keep the
score close we have a good shot
too.

Final Iowa 85. Washington 79

The Huskies actually shot well
from the field  making a good
52.9 percent. More times than
not you would win. Iowa took
more shots than the Huskies
however made one less shot.
Both shot the same with the
3s.

Both did the same except
Iowa made 7 more free throws
than the Huskies. The Huskies
didn't do great however OK
from the free throw line. They
have had to make each one to tie.

The Huskies had four scoring
in double figures beginning with
Mekhi Mason with 19. The Huskies
played eight guys however they
need to get a little from the guy.

This loss will likely keep the
Huskies a chance to play in
the Big Ten tournament. Next
up the Huskies play at Wisconsin
on Tuesday.

The Cougars are playing however
likely to lose too.

Saturday the Seattle Mariners
lost to LA Angels 11-10 in a wild game.
The Mariners had a chance to win
the ninth inning however the Angels
were able to score two in the bottom
of the ninth.

The players expected in the starting
lineup who didn't play Friday did so
Saturday. Guys like Victor Robles
and Dylan Moore.

The Mariners did end up playing a
lot of reserves too. Logan Evans
who started gave up four runs on
five hits in one and a third inning.
The Mariners used nine relievers
with three giving up the other seven
runs. Those used most likely won't
make the team however one could
surprise us.

On Sunday the Mariners will play
Arizona Diamondbacks. Emerson
Hancock has the call to start. Let's
see whether he will do.better.

Gonzaga plays this evening and
show how they did along with
the final of the Cougars game.
We just hope the Zags can win
so someone here does.

Seattle Kraken resume action in
Florida. They are tied right now
at 1-1.
