night. It was the second time they
beat Pepperdine on the season.
On their home court the Zags couldn't
be stopped winning 107-55.
Th>s gave some of the bench more
playing time. Only three players
went over 20 minutes. The Zags are
starting to play some good ball
right now.
Khalifa Battle had 24 points and
shot 50 percent behind the 3 point
making four. Nolan Hickman had
18 points and he to scored 4 3s
on lesser attempts.
The Zags had 10 players with
significant playing time plus
a few others got into the game.
The Zags take on the Cougars
on Wednesday night followed
by St. Mary's on Saturday.
The Cougars on the otherhand
didn't do as well against St.
Mary's as they had at home
in the first game where they
lost by five.
The Cougars had three players
scoring double figures led
by LeJuan Watts with 17 points.
Nate Calmese who has led
the Cougars often had only 5
points. A very good indication
why the Cougars lost.
Final St. Mary's 74 WSU 56
The Cougs will play Santa
Clara on Saturday after playing
the Zag on Wednesday.
The Cougs only have four games
left in regular. We will see how
they do in these four games.
Have to look positive.
