Mariners Lose Spring Opener

Our minds say it doesn't mean 

much however our heart may 

have doubts but none of these

games mean anything.

Who ends up making the opening

day roster is important.

I heard Jay Buhner who now

is one of the Mariners TV analyst

believes in Dylan Moore as the

teams opening and starting 2nd

baseman. I have doubts. Him 

playing some games at second

is OK with me. If he is the.starter

who becomes the utility player

and that isn't as clear.

The Mariners lost Friday 5-2. 

Jhonathan Diaz the starter 

ended up giving up three runs

in two innings. I expect he will

be one of the early cuts. How

well or lack of will decide if he

pitches at Tacoma again or not.

Also who else can make the jump

to triple A.

Logan Evans who made some

promise at double A Arkansas

last year is scheduled to start 

Saturday against the Angels.

Evans could be the headliner

at triple A Tacoma this year.

The biggest news with the Angels

Mike Trout is moving from center

to right field to keep from being

more injured.

The Mariners did start JP Crawford,

Julio, Cal, Arozarena and Garver

at dh. With other catchers in camp

now we could see Garver get at bats 

by being dh during the spring. 

The likelihood we will see others
