Seahawks today during the off-season.
Right now is the combine for the
college draft. General manager
John Schneider and head coach
Mike Macdonald among others
are there to see who impresses
them going into the draft.
The Seahawks have time evaluate
since the draft isn't until April.
Of course they have seen these
guys for some time however the
Schneider and Macdonald are
busy during the season however
the scouts will tell them time to
time who they like.
With the new offense coming in
under new offensive coordinator
Kubiak and the fact they have a
new line coach and a running
back coach they have a new
approach.
The Seahawks are looking at
offensive line for the most
part however if a running back
seems to fit they may draft
someone. The Seahawks do
have a good group of running
backs. The trouble is being
consistent blocking by the line.
The two main positions they
are looking at is center and
guards. They likely will draft
at both spots. We could see
them sign a free agent or
two which would narrow on
who to draft. So we can see
a few current offensive lineman
not on the roster any longer.
We will let you know any news
in that department.
The Seahawks have to lower
the salary cap although the
cap has gone up and they
under it. Getting a few players
to restructure their salary
or they are released we will
see. Go Hawks!
