he has started in right field.
We know spring training is early.
It is almost a month before the
season starts. The Mariners
don't have much room on the
roster so might be hard for
Dominic to make the team.
Last year he was sent down to
Tacoma after making the opening
day roster. Dominic was not
hitting left handed pitching.
At the plate he looked lost
against them. His best chance
is to hit much better.
Dominic has power and hitting
left handed in T-Mobile park is
a good thing. Making the Mariners
would mean he would be the dh
against righties and in the field
when the starting outfielders need
a rest. He can play first base as
well so if Luke Raley needed a
day off or wasn't healthy he could
play there.
We wish Dominic the best since
he would be value to the Mariners
if he can hit OK against lefties
though he will start against righties
most of the time. Go M's.
