Mariners Lose Both Games

The Seattle Mariners had split squads on Thursday and lost both games. 

Game one was on the against the
Texas Rangers..The Mariners were
shutout 8-0.

The Mariners had only five hits.
Randy Arozarena had one hit, 
while Tyler Locklear and Harry
Ford had two hits. All three 
started the game. Locklear
had two doubles which is a
good sign.

Diaz who started went two 
innings, giving up four hits
and one run. All rest relievers 
who likely won't be on the team.
Mariners used six relievers.

Gsme two was at Peoria
where the Mariners lost 6-4
to the Giants. The Mariners scored their first run in the fourth inning.
The other three in the seventh.

The Giants scored four in the
fifth inning and two more in
the eight.  Bryce Miller started
and went one and two-thirds.
He didn't allow a hit or run.
He walked one and struck out
three. A good for a first start.

The Mariners had five in this 
one to though scored for runs.
Ryan Bliss competing for second
base  had a triple which drove
in a run.

Mariners take on the Padres
on Friday. Bryan Woo will
start his first game.
