Gonzaga Breezes While Huskies Make It Close

Gonzaga started a little earlier
before the Huskies played and
just before the Cougars game
ended.

respond not to be upset.

Gonzaga had a good lead built up
in the first time and allowed the
defense be good.  The Zags won
78-61.

in the first half. Braden Huff who
has done it on several occasions

having the most assists by a Zag
player in one season.

Dons are just ahead of the Zags
by a game.

a win as they have had trouble winning
in the  Big Ten. They got off to a
good start and led at halftime by nine
points. They kept the lead in the second
half for a while. Northwestern
got and actually took the lead for
a little while late in the game. The
Huskies were able to go on a 9-0
run to go ahead to stay though
Northwestern still had a shot at
the game.

the end. Mekhi Mason made a
couple foul shots too to seal it
