right now. If he hadn't walked
four batters he was almost flawless.
Gilbert only gave up two hits while
striking out six..He was able to go
eight innings. The first hit was a
bunt to Alvarez. Later on Pena had
a hit. Tyler Saucedo pitched the 9th
and gave up a dribbler down the
third base line. He laughed while
standing on first. Late in the game
Gilbert was able to.produce two
double plays.
Final Mariners 5 Astros 0
The Mariners scored first run in the
second inning when Cal Raleigh hit
into a double play and Ty France scored.
In the 4th inning Mitch Garver hit a double
to score Jorge Polanco. Luis Urias hit
a solo home run in the fifth and Cal
Raleigh hit a two run homer in the sixth
inning to end the scoring.
Everyone except Dylan Moore and Sam
Haggerty had a hit in the game. Jorge
Polanco, Mitch Garver and Ty France
each had two hits.
The Mariners plan to start Josh Rojas
in left field on Sunday while Urias will
be at third. Bryce Miller will start. The
Mariners hope to take the series. Go M's.
