for the Seattle Mariners losing to
the Kansas City 4-2. It would have
helped if the Mariners offense had
come alive.
Logan Gilbert pitched pretty well until
the seventh inning. The Mariners were
leading 1-0 on a Luke Raley home run.
Logan threw a lot of fastballs which
was affective especially those high
and inside. As we can all imagine
the pitcher has to continue doing
well. Unfortunately Logan gave up
a three run homer. Over the years we
have seen a lot of this.
The Royals added another run in the
eighth inning. The Mariners could
only muster another run on a home
run by Mitch Haniger. To put on a
positive spin on this loss the Mariners
are 9-5 in games where the winner
scored four runs or less. It will be
real nice if the trend can continue.
Wednesday is an afternoon game. A
good one to attend since the temperatures
will be around 70 and sunny.
In other local sports Wednesday the
NFL comes out with the 2024 schedule.
We will see who the Seahawks will..play
at home besides the 49ers, the Rams
and the Cardinals. The same goes for
road games. What we do know right
now the Seahawks will.play nine home
games and eight road games. We will
update the schedule when it comes out.
