Look At The Seahawks Right Now

We will update the depth chart of
the Seahawks thought the year.
What it looks like  right now.

The offensive line looks much
the same at the tackle spots
as the starters. Veteran George
Fant returns as a free agent at
right tackle. And Lucas is the
starter however being injured
some of last season good to
have experience to plug in when
necessary.

Last year rookie Olu  Aluwatimi
who was the backup now is the
starter. Former Washington Husky
Nick Harris signed as a free agent
is number two. He can play guard
as well if necessary.

The Seahawks have two new guards.
This includes third round pick Christian
Haynes expected to start at right guard.
Laken Tomlinson signed as a free agent
at left guard.

Noah Fant returns as starter at tight
end. The only one back from last year.
Pharoah Brown free agent from New
England currently number two and
fourth round pick AJ Barner as number
three. Barner is mostly known for his
blocking so could see him when going
with two tight end formation.

The three starters return at wide receiver.
Jake Bobo who had a good season last
year after signing as a free agent is back
as fourth receiver. Dee Eskridge who has
had trouble staying healthy is doing well
so he maybe the fifth receiver.

Ken Walker the third returns as the
starting running back. Zach Charbonnet
second round last year will be number
two however the Seahawks expect to
split time between the two. This hopes
to keep Walker healthy. Kenny McIntosh
seventh round pick last year returns as
the third running pack.

On defense we will see some position
changes to some degree depending
on how head coach Michael Macdonald
wants to do it. He was defensive coorirdinator at Baltimore last year so
be as close to the defense he ran there.

This year's number one pick Byron Murphy
is listed behind Dre'mont Jones at right
defensive end however Jones saw action during ota at outside linebacker/edge
rusher. Most likely Murphy will be seen
anywhere on the defensive line.

Jarran Reed listed as the starter at nose
tackle could lose some time there to
Murphy. Leonard Williams who the Seahawks traded for during last season
is listed at left end. We could see anywhere
especially trying to stop the run where
the Seahawks weren't to good last year.

Boye Mafe may start as one of the edge
rushers. New inside linebackers signed
as free agents in Tyrel Dodson and Jerome
Baker. Tyrice Knight fourth round pick
is expected to backup Dodson.

Last year's number one pick Devon
Witherspoon is listed as starter at
nickel back however could be a
starter at cornerback. Michael
Jackson is listed as the starter at
left corner however had a bad season
last year so could Witherspoon could
be moved there. Riq Woolen who had
an outstanding year as a rookie in 2022
dropped off last year. If he continues
his drop off we could see change there
too. Witherspoon will be somewhere
on the field.

Julian Love expected to be the free
safety starter once again. Coby Bryant
who moved over from corner is
expected to be Love's backup. We could
see three safeties in the game at the
same time. Rayshawn Jenkins over
from Jacksonville is expected to be
the starter at strong safety.

We will let you know any changes on
each side of the ball.  Go Hawks!
