best the Yankees to win the series
in game three however wasn't meant
to be.
Bryce Miller was able to go six
innings however gave up three
home runs. Aaron Judge had
a two-run homer in the first
inning. Juno Soto added another
two-run homer in the 4th. He
added a solo shot in the sixth.
Yankees leading 5-0 when Miller
the game.
The Mariners were able to get
Yankees starter Cortez to go
only five innings getting his
pitch count up however didn't
score any runs. Cal Raleigh
hit a three run homer in
the eighth inning making it
5-3. The unfortunate thing
the Yankees hit another two-run
homer in the bottom of the
eighth to seal it.
The Mariners may have had
a chance to win this game
if they hadn't given up the
home runs..
The Mariners had six hits on the
night. Dylan Moore continues
to hit well having two of the hits.
The Mariners were not able to
take advantage of his hits. Moore
played left field in place of Raley
though he came in later. Moore
than went to third base.
Josh Rojas had the night off.
Rojas hadn't been hitting as
well recently so having a night
off was a good night.
Luis Castillo will start the early
game Thursday before the Mariners
head to DC to take on the Nationals
Friday thru Sunday.
The Mariners take on Houston
Astros next week at home in a
four game series then face the
Angels. Go M's
