Washington Huskies Football Transfer and Recruiting

Head football coach Jedd Fisch and
his staff have been busy since coming
to Washington in January. With
Kalen DeBoer off to Alabama and
the transfer portal quite busy.

The spring game was on May 3. Since
they have been on the trail to add more
to the team for 2024. Not only for incoming
freshmen but veterans too. Also they are
recruiting for 2025 and 2026.

At this point the Huskies have 25 transfers
in. 12 of them are from Arizona where
Fisch coached the last two years. How
much impact those 12 players plus the
other 23 we will see.

The Huskies have had to rebuild the
offensive line since all the starters are
gone either through graduation or
transfer. Most of the starting lineup
on the offensive like are players who
have come back. Some of those who
will start were expected to be backups
They have one transfer in on starting
line. The backups now are redshirt
freshman or incoming freshman.
I am sure we will see some of them
playing during the season. Hopefully
very little when it comes to injuries.

On defense the Huskies have four
transfer expected to start and three
others as backup. The remaining
are those who were on the team
last year. Also three freshman on
second and third teams.

For the 2025 recruiting class the
Huskies have five commits at this
time. Two of the commits are
quarterbacks. Early signing again
will be in December. We will have
updates later on after the summer.
Go Dawgs!
