duel ended up with JP Crawford
hitting a walkoff sacrifice fly to right
field in the 10th inning 2-1.
The Astros scored first and only
run in the 4th inning when Jake
Meyers who singled in Yordan
Alvarez to take 1-0. The Mariners
tied the game in the 5th when
Dominic Canzone crushed the
ball on a home run to tie.
Both Justin Verlander and George
Kirby pitçhed great games. Kirby
went six innings while Verlander
went seven. The Mariners had
15 hitters strike out however the
14 Astros struck out. Mike Baumann
pitching only second game for the
Mariners recorded his first win
as a Mariner. Go M's.
Logan Gilbert will pitch Thurday
afternoon as the Mariners try to
sweep the Astros. The Rangers
won their game so still three
and half games behind the Mariners.
