Twins in a fashion they usually don't.
They even the series 1-1 with two games
to go. The final score 10-6.
The Mariners scored first in the second inning with Mitch Haniger hit a solo
home run. Dylan Moore hit a double
to score Luis Arias.
The Twins scored four runs in the
third in ing including a three run
homer by catcher Ryan Jeffers.
The game was quiet until the 7th
inning when Cal Raleigh who didn't
start pinch hit for backup catcher
Seby Zavala. The Mariners had
the bases loaded. Cal ended up
hitting a grand slam home run.
The Twins scored a run in the
7th and 8th to tie the game.
The Mariners scored four runs
in the 9th inning. Dylan Moore
led off with a triple. Cal Raleigh
walk then Josh Rojas singled to
center bringing home Moore.
Julio walked then Polanco struck
out. Cal scored on a sacrifice fly
by Haniger. Rojas scored on a
wild pitch. Julio scored on a single
by Ty France.
Mariners wanted to win this game
badly so Andres Munoz pitched the
9th and took care of all three batters.
George Kirby is expected to start
Wednesday against the Twins.
