hoping Logan Gilbert would pitch
like they were used to seeing him.
The game we were hoping would
split the four game however it didn't
happen.
Logan ended up getting hit hard in
the first inning giving up five runs.
The Mariners responded in the
second by scoring one run. It actually
looked like the Mariners would cause
more damage however didn't have any
luck. Turned out the Mariners didn't
score another run in the game.
Catcher Ryan Jeffers who has had
eight game hitting streak hit a solo
homer to make it 6-1. In the 4th
inning the Twins scored two more
runs including a sacrifice fly by
Jeffers. Gilbert only went the four
innings. We hope he rebounds in
his next outing.
Eduardo Bazardo who was on the
injured until April 23 when he did
a rehab assignment in Tacoma
then activated on Wednesday made
his first appearance Thursday. He
pitched two innings giving up one
run. Tyson Miller pitched the last
two innings giving up two runs in
the 7th. The first run was earned
when Max Kepler hit a home run.
The second happened on a throwing
error by Luis Urias.
The Mariners come home to take on
Oakland A's this week. We hope they
can win two out of three at least.
Go.Mariners.
