Mariners Return Home with Win

The Mariners scired three runs in
the first inning then held on to win.
The Mariners loaded the bases
in the first inning when Cal Raleigh
hit a ball to deep right center field
when Astros center fielder Myers
drove and caught the ball. Had he
not caught the ball three runs probably would have scored and Raleigh end
up.on third.

JP Crawford who was on third scored
easily from third. Julio might have scored
on the sacrifice fly however didn't go
further than third base.  Ty France had a
hit to bring him Julio. Mitch Garver
signed to bring in Mitch Haniger. The
Mariners were shutout rest of the way.

Bryce Miller who was pitching a
no-hitter through four innings gave
up two runs in the fifth inning. Miller
ended up going six inning. The bullpen
gave up only one hit in three innings.
Andre Munoz who has been dominating
struck out two in the ninth inning.
He had his eleventh save on the season.

Jorge Polanco was placed on the injured
list. Ryan Bliss was brought up from
Tacoma. He made his major league
debut at second base.

Luis Castillo will start on Tuesday facing
Hunter Brown for the Astros. Brown is
1-5 so the Mariners should be favored
to win. Brown is a right hander so
should see Luke Raley, Dominic Canzone
and Josh Rojas should be in the lineup.
