night had a quality start.
Bryce Miller went six innings giving
up two runs. He struck out nine
batters. The Mariners were only able
to have three hits. The lone run was
on a homer by Cal Raleigh who continues
to hot. Not a surprise Josh Rojas had
a hit as well. The third hit was by Polanco.
When Miller left the game the offense
went flat. In the 8th inning after being
down 3-1 the A's hit a ball off the fence
for a double that led to two runs off of
Gabe Speier's. Not sure however I think
someone else besides Mitch Haniger could
have caught the ball that led to the two
runs. Eduardo Bazardo came in the
9th and gave up three more runs that
sealed it for Oakland.
