were able to clinch the series against
the Braves the best record in the
major leaues. Winning two out of three
is good though.
Final Braves 5 Mariners 2
Emerson Hancock struggled coming
out of the gate however the Braves
weren't able to score a run until the
third inning. The fourth inning was
when the gsme went down though.
The Braves scored four runs. None
of the four runs were earned.
Mitch Haniger had a rough day at
the plate striking out three times
on the day. He wasn't able to catch
a ball that went to the fence as well.
Hancock had an error as well. He
lasted only three and two-thirds
inning.
Jorge Polanco drive in both runs
One in the fifth bringing in catcher
Seby Zavala and then in the seventh
driving in Julio Rodriguez. Maybe we
will see a great May by Julio as he
had three hits on the day.
The Mariners did get a couple runners
on base in the ninth but could bring
them home. Now off to Houston
for a weekend series starting Friday.

The bullpen did a fine job allowing
only one hit on the day and no runs.
