Cougars and Zags Play Today

The WSU Cougars take on Iowa State

Saturday afternoon at 3:10 pm pacific

time on TNT.  

Iowa State is a number two seed while

the Cougars are number seven. The

Cougars will need to play their A game

to move onto the round of sixteen

next week. Iowa State will be favored

so the Cougars will have to play their

good defense to move on. 

Iowa State won their opener Thursday

over South Dakota State 82-65. The

Cougars beat Drake 66-61. The Cougars 

will have to keep the score in this one

similar to Thursday's to win. Go Cougs!

Gonzaga the number five seed takes

on number four Kansas at 12:15 pm pacific time on CBS. So we know how their

game goes before the Cougars. This

game will be tough though doable.

This will be these two teams third 

meeting ever with both teams each

winning one. Kansas in their opener

Kansas beat number 13 seed Samford

93-89 in a close encounter. Having

a tough outing the first what will that 

mean.

Gonzaga though beat number 12 seed

McNeese State easily 86-65. The Zags

have been on a good run so they hope

their good favor will lead them to the

Sweet Sixteen. Go Zags!
