of the 2023-24 season the Cougars won
in Seattle. The Cougars have had a much
better season then the Huskies. Things like
this happens in rivalry games.
I am sure this win by the Huskies won't
allow Mike Hopkins to keep his job
another year. Only showed how capable
the players could have been. Guys like
Keion Brooks Jr. who had 22 points in
this game will be moving on. In Keion's
case maybe the NBA.
Koren Johnson who had 23 points and
possibly Wilhelm Breidenbach who played
as the eight players in this one will return.
Like last year whoever is the coach of
next year will have to bring in players
from the transfer portal and hopefully
some incoming freshman. Mike Hopkins
didn't have a good recruiting classes
while at Washington.
The Huskies won this game over the
Cougars 74-68. The Cougars didn't
shoot well from the field. The difference
was the Huskies made two more 3 point
shits than the Cougars. The Huskies
have had trouble defending this year
though this might have been one of
their better games.
The Huskies will go into Pac-12 tournament
where they could be anywhere between
fifth and eleventh. The Cougars despite
the loss will be seated number two behind
Arizona. The Cougars won't be playing in
the first round. As we know we have no
idea how the Huskies will play. They could
play well or not. The best to the Dawgs
and the Cougars.
