triple A team Tacoma Rainier's. They
take on Oklahoma City in a three game series.
Not sure who will start the opener
however would not be surprised
if Levi Stoudt starts. He returned
to the Mariners organization after
being released by the Cincinnati
Reds where he went in the Luis
Castillo trade.
Blake Hunt and Michael Papierski
are the two catchers. Papierski
had a good spring in Mariners
camp. Colin Moran expected to
start at first base. Ryan Bliss one
of the top prospects will play
shortstop and maybe second base.
Mariners have injuries in the infield
he or Samad Taylor would be the
first one called up.
Speaking of Taylor he will play second
and outfield. Mike Salvatore and Jason
Vosler at third though Vosler may see
time at first.
Jonathan Case another top prospect
will play in center. Last year he was
at double A. He should be a fun one
to watch. Cade Marlowe will be in
left and occasion in center. We may
see him again with the Mariners during
the year.
Isiah Gilliam who played some in late
games in spring training for Mariners
will be in right field along with Nick
Solak a veteran.
Next week the single A teams and double A
start on April 5. Catcher Harry Ford and
infielder Cole Young will be at double A.
