three runs off a Mariner minor league
pitcher for 5-4 to win.
Logan Gilbert pitched outstanding
going five innings giving up just
three hits, no runs, no walks and
seven strikeouts. Though it was
against the lesser of the Diamondbacks
players since they played split squad.
If Logan can keep that up against front
line major leaguers in the season he
will win a lot of games.
Jorge Polanco continues having a good
spring getting a hit and driving in a run.
Stays healthy the Mariners will have
solved second base.
Samad Taylor continues to do well. He made a difficult catch after losing in.the sun. He had a hit and drove in the run.
Dylan Moore is having a good camp
so might be hard for Samad to make opening roster unless takes someone
else's spot or the Mariners decide to
trade Dylan Moore. The Mariners sent
the KC Royals a player to be named
later so obviously believe in him.
Monday the Mariners are on the road
to.play the Texas Rangers. The Mariners
pitcher hasn't been announced yet.
