Bryan Woo started and went two and
two-thirds inning. Gave up no hits while
walking one and striking out three.
Austin Voth who is trying to making the
team as the long reliever followed by going
one and one-third innings. He gave up one
hit and struck out one. After him Carlos
Vargas who is trying to make the team
gave up one hit and struck out two.
Matt Brash starting throwing though he
may start on the injured list. So the
Mariners will have someone who would
have not made the team out of spring
training however show whether can help
during the season.
A lot of the Mariners starters or expected
to have good playing time started Thursday.
JP Crawford, Julio, Polanco along with
Garver, Haniger, Canzone and Luis Urias.
Crawford walked in the first and came
home on a Polanco single. The Mariners
didn't score again until the 9th inning.
Canzone and Urias were the only other
starters with a single.
Emerson Hancock starts Friday for the
Mariners against the Chicago Cubs.
This will be his second start of the
