Bryce Miller starter giving up two
runs in two and a third innings.
The Mariners big inning was the
sixth when they scored five runs.
The Mariners scoring by walks,
and singles. Ty France walked, then
Luke Raley did. Raley started this
game in center field. Maybe we will
Julio back in center on Thursday.
The Mariners want to see where Raley
can play. He may play first when
France had a day off and center when
Julio does.
Brian Anderson who the Mariners
signed just before the season played
right field. He may see action there
and third base if he makes the team
He hit a hard one to right field loading
the bases. Josh Rojas walks scoring
Ty France from third. Ryan Bliss
playing second gets on a throwing
error allowing the Mariners to score
twice. Samad Taylor singles to right
scoring Rojas and Bliss. A good way
to score five runs without a homer.
Samad hit a homer for the Mariners
in the third inning for first run.
The Mariners seem to be doing well
with those who are trying make the
team as utility player and minor
leaguers like Ryan Bliss who maybe
on the team sooner than later. Those
who are trying to make the bullpen
today did a fine job for the most part.
Woo is expected to start on Thursday
followed by Hancock on Friday. Not
sure why George Kirby missed a start.
Until next time. Go M's
