The Zags Beat Dons

Gonzaga beat the San Francisco Dons 
in the semifinals of the West Coast
Conference Tournament Monday night
89-77.

The game was close in the first half
with the Zags leading at halftime by
one. Ben Gregg who had 17 points
on the night score four 3-pt shots
early on to put the Zags up to a good
lead to win comfortably. 

The Zags had all five starters score
in double figures led by Nolan Hickman
with 20. Both teams were equal in
3 points on the night. The bid difference
the Zags made 16 free throws to the
Dons 8. Took almost twice as many.

The Zags will take on St. Mary's the
conference champion in the final
of the tournament Tuesday night.
The winner will have automatic
spot in the NCAA tournament. Expect
both teams to be in though. Go Zags!
